Abstract
A method is reported for separating lymphocytes from solid tumors. After the sequential use of columns of glass beads, velocity (isokinetic) sedimentation, and isopycnic sedimentation, lymphocytes were obtained in 76.3 to 96.8% purity from disaggregated tumors. When isopycnic sedimentation was omitted, lymphocytes were obtained in 58.4 to 95.1% purity.
