Abstract
Positions Available. Immunogenetics Research. The Bureau of Laboratories, Center for Disease Control, is seeking an experienced investigator for a developing immunogenetics activity. This activity is part of the Center's nationwide surveillance program which defines and characterizes outbreaks of phenomena such as poliomyelitis or Reye's syndrome following polio immunization or influenza, respectively. The existing laboratory services in immunology will be extended to immunogenetics. Senior investigators with an interest and experience in clinical and laboratory immunogenetics are invited to apply for a new position which will be comprised of no more than 50% for the support activities. The remainder to be devoted to basic and/or applied research in human or animal immunogenetics. Beginning salary commensurate with training and experience. Positions may be in the career Federal Civil Service or the Public Health Service Commissioned Corps depending on interest and qualifications. Liberal fringe benefits.
