Positions Available. Director of Hospital Clinical Immunology Laboratory at the level of Assistant Professor or higher. Rank and salary commensurate with experience and training. Requirements and responsibilities: Ph.D. or M.D. capable of directing modern, clinical immunology laboratory, responsible for all aspects of immunological testing for Temple's 500 bed hospital, including radioimmunoassay procedures. Applicant should be certified or eligible for certification by an appropriate board, e.g., American Board of Medical Microbiology, American Board of Medical Laboratory Immunology, American Board of Clinical Pathology. The job includes professional supervision of a service oriented clinical immunology laboratory and teaching of medical, graduate, and medical technology students. Applicant should be able to pursue independent research in own field of interest or in conjunction with others in the immunology group, as well as supervise graduate student research.
