Summary
Cutaneous tests with herpes-antigens prepared from the infected chorio-allantoic fluid of chick-embryos were performed in children and adults. The serums of the same individuals were examined for neutralizing antibody to herpes-virus.
The results indicate that a positive cutaneous reaction to herpes-antigen is closely correlated with the presence of neutralizing antibody in the blood and the significance of these results is discussed.
