The effects on the potency of tetanus toxoid for mice of adding diphtheria toxoid and pertussis vaccine were investigated.

Diphtheria toxoid in concentrations of 0.3 Lf and 10 Lf per Lf of tetanus toxoid had no significant effect on the potency of tetanus toxoid.

Pertussis vaccine in densities of 100 million and 1,500 million organisms per Lf of tetanus toxoid were potent adjuvants for the latter.

The dose-response curves of 5 variously combined preparations of tetanus toxoid maintained significant parallelism in both their regression portions and in their asymptotic portions.
